RAAF Radar in WWII - Pictorial II - Mainland Stations

A pictorial history documenting the radar stations established across mainland Australia, including Metung, Cape Don, Kiama etc. (see scan) during the Second World War. Produced by former RAAF radar personnel, this volume focuses on site photographs, unit groups, equipment and station environments, forming a visual companion to operational histories of Australian radar defence. It is part of the broader veterans' effort to record 'the technical, logistical, and human story of radar operations - a field often overshadowed by flying unit histories. Published in 1992 and limited to 500 copies, this copy is in very clean condition, with only the prior owners name neatly written inside the front cover. Pale blue pictorial covers.
