Comrades of the Great Adventure is the 1935 First World War memoir of Harold Roy Williams, an Australian soldier of the 56th Battalion, AIF, and is widely regarded as one of the more valuable and scarce personal accounts of the Western Front. Details the authors time with the 56th Battalion during WWI. Includes among others, action at the Somme, Fleurbaix, Cardonnette and Pernois.
